Course Description
Enamel Filling and Raden are traditional Chinese craft techniques that showcase the exceptional skills and artistic achievements of ancient artisans. They are renowned for their intricate and durable enamel decorations on metal objects, while Raden features iridescent patterns created by inlaying mother-of-pearl or abalone shells, symbolizing luxury and refinement. These techniques have been passed down for thousands of years and have profoundly influenced the artistic traditions of East Asia. About The Workshop: Experience the art of Enamel Filling and Raden in a simplified, accessible format. Participants will fill pre-made metal compartments with vibrant glitter powders and coloured shells, using an easier technique that captures the essence of this ancient Chinese craft (No firing or high temperatures required). Using easy-to-learn techniques, participants will create stunning designs accessories without the intricacies of traditional methods. Workshop Highlights: - Discover the history and essence of this ancient Chinese art form - Fill pre-made metal compartments with vibrant glitter powders and coloured shells - Explore simplified techniques for creating beautiful cloisonné and raden designs Note: - This workshop offers an accessible approach to mastering the fundamentals of cloisonné and raden. - Participants will take home their accessory (two alloy based hair clip/pin or one hair claw) at the end of the class. - Workshops can be taught in English or Cantonese - 1.5 - 2 hours workshop - Suitable for participants aged 10 and above Class Size: A maximum of six participants per class. - 點藍、燒藍和螺鈿是中國傳統工藝技法，展現了古代工匠的高超技藝與藝術造詣。點藍和燒藍以金屬器物上精巧耐用的彩飾著稱，而螺鈿則以珍珠母或鮑魚殼鑲嵌出虹彩圖案，象徵奢華與精緻。這些技法不僅傳承千年，還深刻影響了東亞的藝術傳統。 關於工作坊: 本課程旨在介紹此中國傳統藝術形式，為參與者提供親身體驗，展現景泰藍和螺鈿的精美與精妙，並以簡化易懂的方式（使用無需高溫燒製的閃粉和色彩繽紛的貝殼) ，創作出獨特的配飾。 工作坊亮點: - 了解點藍及螺鈿的歷史/ 設計原則 - 動手實踐，探索色彩理論並繪製彩色草圖 - 練習點藍填充技法和練習螺鈿鑲嵌技法 課堂人數: 可接受單人報名，最多六人一班 備註: - 課程結束後，學員可將完成的合金配件(兩個髮夾/別針或一個大號爪夾 )帶回家 - 工作坊可以英語或粵語授教 - 課程大約1.5 - 2小時 - 適合10歲及以上的參與者

Please note that all payments are non-refundable, even if you choose to cancel your session at a later date. Participants arriving more than 30 minutes late will be considered no-shows and will not be admitted. Cancellations, postponements, class transfers, or refunds are not permitted unless the class is canceled by us due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances that prevent us from conducting the session. Make-up lessons cannot be arranged for any missed classes, regardless of the reason or supporting documentation provided. *Each workshop seat is strictly limited to one registered participant. Two people may not share one workshop seat. Accompanying persons are not allowed. If you wish to bring someone to attend or sit in, an additional full headcount fee will be required. *If you make a booking but fail to attend without prior notice, you will be blacklisted and will no longer be eligible to register for future workshops. 請注意，所有已繳付之費用均不設退款，即使您其後選擇取消課程亦然。任何參加者如遲到超過 30 分鐘，將被視為缺席，並不獲安排入場。 除非因報名人數不足或其他不可預見且無法舉辦課程之情況而由本方取消課程，否則恕不接受任何取消、延期、更改課程或退還課程費用之申請。 所有缺課均不設補課安排，無論任何原因或是否提供證明文件。 *每個工作坊名額僅限一位已報名參加者使用，恕不接受兩人共用一個名額，亦不設陪同人士。如欲攜同他人出席或旁聽，須另行支付一個完整名額之費用。 *如已報名但未有事先通知而缺席，本方將保留列入黑名單之權利，並不再接受日後之報名。
