Explore tradition and innovation in this workshop, crafting a Cloisonné coaster with 3D Filigree and Raden techniques. Cloisonné is reimagined with 3D printing for intricate 0.2mm designs and vibrant, non-fired glazes. The collection takes inspiration from renowned works of art, while the workshop also simplifies Raden for stunning, modern mother-of-pearl designs. About The Workshop : Designed for those seeking to dive into this traditional Chinese art form, this workshop offers a hands-on experience that showcases the beauty and precision of Cloisonné and Raden. Participants will focus on mastering the intricate process of filling delicate Cloisonné compartments with vibrant, non-fired cold enamel glazes, all without the need for high-temperature firing. Workshop Highlights : - Learn the history of Cloisonné & Raden significance, and design principles - Hands-On activities to explore colour theory and create a coloured sketch - Practice enamel filling and raden techniques with vibrant cold enamel powders and coloured shells Class Size: Maximum of six participants per class Note: - The completed 3D filigree base will be pre-prepared by the instructor (Legendary Artwork Pattern), coaster size: 13.8cm x 13.8cm - Participants can select a crystal or matte finish for their walnut coaster (For the crystal finish, leave your coaster with us—we'll handle it. Please note that all payments are non-refundable, even if you choose to cancel your session at a later date. Participants arriving more than 30 minutes late will be considered no-shows and will not be admitted. Cancellations, postponements, class transfers, or refunds are not permitted unless the class is canceled by us due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances that prevent us from conducting the session. Make-up lessons cannot be arranged for any missed classes, regardless of the reason or supporting documentation provided. *Each workshop seat is strictly limited to one registered participant. Two people may not share one workshop seat. Accompanying persons are not allowed.
